Saturday, May 13, 2006 - Performance with the Foundation Orchestra at the Nevada Museum of Art, Reno, NV. 7:00pm. Conducting Vincent Persichetti's "The Hollow Men" with Mark Lord, Trumpet, and performing on bass trombone.

Saturday, May 20, 2006 - Performances by the Millennium Bugs (6:00-7:00pm) and Mile High Jazz Band (8:00-10:00pm) at Rotary "USO" Dance, Carson City Airport.

Sunday, May 21, 2006 - Carson City Symphony presents "Symphony of Flavors," featuring young performers at the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall. Recital at 4pm, followed by elegant dinner in the Brewery Arts Center Ballroom - call 775-883-4154 for details.

Sunday, June 4, 2006 - Demonstration/lecture of the Broadwood Baby Grand Piano at the historic Brougher-Bath Mansion, 204 W. Spear St. Carson City, NV. Drop by any time between 1:00 and 5:00pm to learn about the piano and a little bit of the history of music in early Carson City days. This is part of the Historic House Tour put on by the Carson City Historical Society

Friday, June 9, 2006 - Mile High Jazz Band plays for private party.

Tuesday, June 13, 2006 - Mile High Jazz Band gig at Comma Coffee featuring poets from the Ash Canyon Poets group reading poems about education and learning, 312 S. Carson St. Carson City, NV - 8:00pm to 10:00pm - $5 cover charge. Featured poets include Terri Breeden, Krista Benjamin, Rita Geil, and Richard Smith.

Saturday, June 17, 2006 - Mile High Jazz Band performs in the "Jazzin' Up the Comstock Jazz Festival" in Virginia City (parking lot by the Delta Saloon), 4-6pm. Contact the Virginia City Chamber of Commerce for details at 775-847-0311.

Sunday, June 18, 2006 - Carson City Symphony will present it's 22nd annual Pops Party Concert at the Governor's Mansion, 4:00pm. Guest and solo artists include the Carson Chamber Singers under conductor Judy Monson, the Vaughn Middle School Mariachi Band under Jose Flores, harmonica virtuoso Tom Stryker, trumpeter Tyson Reed, and Hank Monk impersonator Fred Stanio. Wednesday, June 28, 2006 - Mile High Jazz Band performs for the Carson City Area Chamber of Commerce annual meeting at the Nevada State Railroad Museum from 6:30 to 9:00pm. Also, the Millennium Bugs perform for the cocktail hour on a train from 5:30 to 6:15pm.

Friday, August 25, 2006 - Mile High Jazz Band perform as part of the "Jazz and Beyond Festival" at the Brewery Arts Center. FREE! FREE! FREE1

Friday, August 25, through Sunday, August 27, 2006 - Mile High Jazz Band and other ensembles and soloists perform as part of the "Jazz and Beyond Festival" at the Brewery Arts Center. The festival is an outgrowth of the "Basically Basie" jazz festivals held the last two Augusts. Last year there were over 20 acts. This one promises to be even bigger. Special headliners and other performers include Lydia Pense and Cold Blood, Dan Hicks with Bayside Jazz, Bobby Matos with his Afro-Cuban Ensemble, Reno Big Swing with Buddy Wright, Industrial Jazz Group, and Reno Jazz Orchestra with Cami Thompson. Sunday, October 26, 2006 - Carson City Symphony concert at the Carson City Community Center at 4:00pm. Guest soloists Carla Trynchuk, violin, and Stepen Framil, cello, playing the Brahms Double Concerto. For details, call 775-883-4154.

Friday, November 17, 2006 - Millennium Bugs perform for the Carson City Library Foundation dinner at Silver Oaks Country Club, Carson City.

Saturday, November 18, 2006 - 7:00pm performance on tuba and bass trombone with the Ruby Mountain Symphony, Elko, Nev. The orchestra performed my arrangement of Joseph Lamb's "Reindeer Rag."
