Sunday, June 9, 2019 - I conduct the Carson City Symphony on its 35th Annual Pops Party Concert at the Capital Amphitheater with the Carson City Symphony Chorus, under Interim Director Ricky Hutton, and with singer/songwriter Tom Miller. The event starts at 6:00 p.m. and is free to the public. For information, see CCSymphony.com.

Tuesday, June 11, 2019 - Mile High Jazz Band performs a jazz-and-poetry event, "Hindsight," at Comma Coffee, 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Monday, June 17, 2019 - "David & Friends" performs at the Sierra Place Senior Living at 3:15 p.m. The trio is Rocky Tatarelli on tenor sax, Neil Strocchio on drums, and David Bugli on piano. For information, call Emilie Williams at 775-841-4111.

Sunday, June 23, 2019 - The Mile High Jazz Band performs as part of a 4-band "showcase" on the Brewery Arts Center's Levitt Stage. The free concert starts at 5:00 p.m., and the MHJB will perform as the last act, starting about 6:30 p.m. Also on the program, under the direction of Nick Jacques, is the Summer Pops Band, the Capital City Community Band, and the Summer Jazz Camp Band.

Thursday, July 4, 2019 - I play tuba will the Carson Valley Pops in a Fourth of July concert in Heritage Park, Gardnerville, NV. Free concert at 11:30 a.m.

Thursday, July 4, 2019 - I conduct the Carson City Symphony and Chorus in a concert for the Genoa Americana Celebration in Mormon Station State Park, Genoa, NV. Joining us is singer/songwriter Tom Miller. The Symphony performs at 4:30 p.m. Interim Choral Director Ricky Huttons conducts the Chorus in several pieces. The event is free.

Saturday, July 6, 2019 - The David & Friends jazz combo plays for the Wine Walk at the Nevada Artists Assoc. Gallery from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. The event is free, but to participate in the Wine Walk, check the Wine Walk webpage at www.downtowncarson.org/carson-city-wine-walk.

Tuesday, July 9, 2019 - Mile High Jazz Band performs with vocalist Jakki Ford at Living the Good Life, 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Thursday, Aug. 1, 2019 - The Millennium Bugs perform at Dangberg Home Ranch Historic Park (1480 Highway 88, Minden, NV). We play from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. For information, see https://www.dangberghomeranch.org/events.

August 9-25, 2019 - I am a major organizer of the Jazz & Beyond Carson City Music Festival. In 2019 we will present or feature more than 100 musicians in more than 50 events.

Friday, Aug. 16, 2019 - I conduct Tom Stryker's Big Band, an 8-piece harmonica ensemble, at 8:00 p.m. at the SPAH (Society for the Preservation and Advancement of the Harmonica) convention at the Tulsa Hyatt Regency in Tulsa, OK. The group will be performing one of my arrangements, along with other pieces. For information, see the SPAH website at https://www.spah.org/index.asp.

Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2019 - The Mile High Jazz Band performs a "Basie Birthday" concert at McFadden Plaza in Carson City, starting at 7:30. (It's actually the day before his birthday, so don't get too upset.) The event is free.

Most Mile High Jazz Band Comma Coffee gigs are on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at either Living the Good Life (Jan., Feb., April, May, July, August, Oct., and Nov.) or at Comma Coffee (March, June, Sept., and Dec.).
